The 20th Cholistan Desert Rally is scheduled to take place from 11 to 16 February, 2025 in the expansive Cholistan Desert near Derawar Fort. This annual event, organized by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), has become a significant highlight in Pakistan's motorsport calendar.

Initiated in 2005 by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), the Cholistan Desert Rally has evolved into a premier motorsport event in Pakistan. The primary objectives of the rally are to showcase the rich history and culture of the Cholistan region and to promote it as a winter tourist destination.

Event Details:

• Route and Distance: The rally covers a challenging route of approximately 500 kilometers through the Cholistan Desert, incorporating several historic forts such as Dingarh Fort, Marrot Fort, Khan Garh Fort, Bhijnot Fort, Moujgarh Fort, and Jamgarh Fort.

  Categories: Participants compete in three main categories:
• Prepared Category: Subdivided into classes A, B, C, and D.
• Stock Category: Also divided into classes A, B, C, and D.
• Women’s Category: Dedicated exclusively to female drivers.

Event Schedule:

• February 11: Inaugural ceremony.
• February 12: Registration and technical inspection of participating vehicles at the TDCP resort in the Cholistan desert.
• February 13: Qualifying round at Dilwash Stadium near Derawar Fort.
• February 14: Prepared category races for men and women.
• February 15: Stock category races for male and female participants, followed by a cultural program and fireworks display.
• February 16: Final round of the prepared category, along with truck and dirt bike races at Dilwash Stadium, culminating in a prize distribution ceremony.
